Your tour starts when we pick you up from Sandakan Airport or your hotel in Sandakan. We will then go for a speedboat journey to Selingan Island.

You are advised to pack light for this trip. Storage is available at our Borneo Eco Tours Sandakan branch. The ride can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes as it depends on the wave current and weather we’re experiencing.

We operate our own twin engine speedboats which are all weathered, licensed, fully insured and with a carrying capacity of 12 passengers.

Only 50 visitor permits are allocated each day for an overnight stay at Selingan Island. It is not possible to visit just for a day trip.
