Day 1
Arrive in Kota Kinabalu and transfer to your hotel. We will pick you up in the evening for a city tour. Then, visit the night market to check out the wide array of local spices, souvenirs, fruits and vegetables. Proceed to a restaurant for dinner before we return to your hotel.

Day 2 : Tunku Abdul Rahman Park
Transfer to jetty for a 20-minutes boat ride to one of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park islands for a day of relaxation and explore jungle trails on your own. Snorkel in crystal clear water among coral reefs and rainbow-coloured fishes before we return to Kota Kinabalu.

Day 3 : Kota Kinabalu – Kinabalu Park – Kota Kinabalu
Journey 2 hours overland to the foothills of mighty Mt. Kinabalu at 1500m and take a quick stop at Pekan Nabalu market to savour local fruits in season. Visit the Kinabalu Geopark Gallery and Mountain Garden in Kinabalu Park Headquarters. If weather permits, take a guided walk on one of the trails in the cool surrounding to explore the montane forest. Return to Kota Kinabalu and stay overnight in hotel.

Day 4 : Kota Kinabalu – Sandakan – Selingan Island
Transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport for morning flight (40 minutes) to Sandakan and arrive before 0800 hours. On arrival, transfer to jetty for 1-hour boat ride to Selingan Island. Enjoy leisure to explore island, swim and snorkel. After dinner, wait for signal from the Park Ranger before proceeding to watch Green Turtle lay eggs on the beach, transplanting of eggs to hatchery and release of baby turtles to the sea. Stay overnight in Twin-Share room.

Day 5 : Selingan Island – Sepilok – Sukau Rainforest Lodge
Return to Sandakan and head to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. There, you’ll get to learn about the rehabilitation effort done at the centre through a short video screening. Then make your way to the feeding platform to witness the feeding of orangutans scheduled daily at 10AM. You can also spend time observing the cheeky little younglings in an enclosed nursery area.
After lunch, embark on a 2-and-a-half-hour journey to the award winning Sukau Rainforest Lodge, nestled on the banks of Sabah’s longest river, Kinabatangan. Right after checking-in, we’ll go on board for a late afternoon cruise in search of Borneo’s wildlife and birds. Return to the lodge to savour a scrumptious dinner at Melapi restaurant, followed by a slide presentation and interpretation by a naturalist guide. Overnight at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge.

Day 6 : Sukau Rainforest Lodge
Rise and shine for the morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap oxbow lake to view more birds and wildlife. After breakfast, join in the nature walk along the lodge’s Hornbill Boardwalk with the in-house naturalist. After lunch, it will be free at leisure. In the afternoon, proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife. Overnight at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge.

Day 7 : Sukau Rainforest Lodge – Sandakan – Transfer out (by boat)
Have breakfast before returning to Sandakan by boat. After lunch, proceed to airport for the 1430hrs flight to Kota Kinabalu. If you’re taking the evening flight, you’ll have a chance to visit Rainforest Discovery Centre. Take a bird view of the centre from the canopy walk and hanging bridge, explore the botanical garden, home to various species of flora. Proceed to Sandakan Memorial Park for a short visit before taking the flight.

What is a single supplement?
A solo traveller is charged with a single supplement which is a premium charge in order for him/her to have a room all to his or herself. Nearly every hotel and tours are based on double occupancy, which is why solo travellers will need to pay the single supplement rate. This is to compensate the hotel for losses incurred as only a single person is using the room and service.
Please take note that our bookings require a minimum number of 2 adults simply because the prices of room, transfers and day tours are quoted based on twin sharing, and in order to cover the extra cost that is meant for 2 adults, an additional charge of 100% is applicable for a single traveller.
However, this premium charge can be avoided if you bring another travelling companion with you during your travels.

- Children Discount This is a kid friendly tour, discount is applicable to children based on their birth year and following room sharing policy in certain property. Contact our consultant to know more.
- Transfer Inclusion This tour package rates include pick-up and drop-off from Kinabalu Airport or city hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Additional charge per person applies for pick-up and drop-off outside this area and pick up time may vary.
- Please make sure that you travel light to Selingan Island.
- Note on Camera Use at Selingan Island: For any camera (phone, digital or still camera) for personal use are chargeable at RM10.00 PER UNIT for conservation permit purposes. Please note that FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO TAKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
- Note: (November-February) Please be advised that our trip to Selingan Island involves boat journey via the Sulu Sea. In the event of inclement weather condition during or before the boat journey, the company will have the absolute discretion to cancel or postpone the trip if it is deemed that the journey will jeopardize the safety of our passengers. In the event of cancellation, a replacement tour will be offered. The company will not be liable for any compensation.
- Snorkeling gear is available for hire at a surcharge.
- Note on Camera Use at Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre:For any camera with zoom lens from 100 to 400mm, video camera or other video recording equipment for personal use are chargeable at RM10.00 per unit. For any camera (fixed-lens – 400mm and above ) or any film-making equipment are chargeable at RM1,000.00 per unit. Mode of payment is cash only.
- Customers are encouraged to purchase their own travel insurance before travelling to Borneo. We recommend you to select a travel insurance policy that covers not only your medical expenses (including emergency repatriation) but also personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage. Doing so can prevent major disruptions and additional costs.
